Trust starts beyond the label.

Food should always come with a story you can believe. Traceability helps producers prove it, and gives consumers the right to know.

Food shouldn’t be a
guessing game.

In a global food system full of loopholes and long supply chains, even the best-looking label might hide a different reality.

1

“Made in Italy” tomato sauce?

Actually grown in Xinjiang, China. Picked by forced labor.
Repackaged in Italy.
Sold as Italian.

2

The real origin was hidden, until science proved otherwise.

This isn’t rare. BBC analyzed 64 tomato products and 17 were misleading.

Buckley, M. R. &. S. (2024, December 1). ‘Italian’ purees likely to contain Chinese forced-labour tomatoes.

3

This isn’t the exception. It’s the system.

A system where consumers don’t really know what they’re buying.

Honest food should be accessible.
That's why everything we build, we share. For free.

The Origin is part of LoginEKO.

Founded by Samo Login, our mission is to build a more sustainable food system.

We’re changing the way we grow and eat food through organic farming, powered by technology and built on transparency.

We believe food should never be a mystery.

With this in mind, we created The Origin while developing Njamito, a completely honest, ready-to-eat meal.

Now we want to offer that same power to:

  • Food producers, who want to stand behind their products.
  • Consumers, who want to know what they’re really eating.

All the way back to the field, even before the seed is planted.

We’re proving what’s possible with the help of our Farming Software and our own 3,700-hectare organic farm.

1

It starts before the seed

We begin with the land. Our agronomists review each field and create a plan using our own Farming Software.

2

The right seed, in the right place

We choose the best seed for each field. We log everything, variety, LOT number, quantity, and supplier.

3

Sowing with precision

As we sow the seeds, every operation is logged. That includes the machines, materials, and weather conditions.

4

Growing and care

As the crops grow, we monitor and care for them. We track weed control, nutrients, scouting visits, and the weather they’re growing in.

5

Harvesting and storage

When it’s time to harvest, we log how much we harvested, the machines we used, and how the crops were stored.

6

From oats to product

The oats are cleaned and prepared for production and turned into Njamito, ready for you to enjoy.

Every step of the story.

With one QR-code scan, you can trace your product from fridge to field, and everything in between.

Let’s build a more honest food system. Together.
